Profile Lianne won an award for her studies in health, life and social sciences. Her research project was published in a book professional perspectives in health care it is aimed at improving patient experience. Lianne is a registered member of the national health service (NHS) alternative health care practitioners. Lianne is a acupuncture clinical supervisor at the University of Lincoln and enjoys her teaching post. Lianne is also a Univeristy guest lecturer for acupuncture treatment alongside IVF and promoting fertility. In 2002 Lianne Aquilina studied traditional acupuncture for three years at the University of Lincoln. She obtained a first class honours degree in complementary medicine with the specialisation of traditional acupuncture. Lianne holds a postgraduate certificate in Chinese medicine after further training in a hospital in China. Lianne obtained a distinction for a Masters of Arts (MA) module in classical Chinese medicine at The College of Traditional Acupuncture. She qualified in Chinese patent herbal medicine at The Northern College of Acupunture in 2006.

Lianne has a range of postgraduate training and develops acupuncture courses. Areas include acupuncture in IVF, acupuncture in pregancy, acupuncture for male fertility. Acupuncture for back pain, acupuncture in pain management. Promoting fertility with acupuncture. Traditional and medical acupuncture for a range of sports injuries.
